Explore and analyze, in writing and reading, a variety of genres and rhetorical situations.
Course Learning Outcome 1 was one of the first things we discussed and learned when staring out the class. CLO 1 taught me that all the elements of rhetorical situation are strongly connected and all of them have to be considered before we even start writing a paper. One of the things that I got out of this was the fact that I now have a clear goal in mind of how the paper should be and what should be involved in the paper at what specific area of the paper depending on the rhetorical devices surrounding the paper itself.
to complete any of the assignments given to me during this semester I had to consider all six of the devices and figure out how to make use of them all in my paper. For my expository essay I made sure to not have a stance, and make sure that all of my audience members can clearly understand the information laid out in front of them.
