I was unaware of this term or of its meaning in writing. Still to this day as I am writing this website I have a very foggy understanding of exigence as it is clearly shown in all of my writing pieces this semester. I hardly used exigence during my class and will most likely continue to struggle with this specific rhetorical device and not rely on it for future pieces.
