Media at first is seen as a unimportant rhetorical device that seems less valuable than the other rhetorical devices, but they are mistaken. The media platform as to which you represent your information/writing can change the way you present the literature, or even the targeted audience that you wish to hear your work.
For the most part during this semester the media I used was article’s typed up and the audience was whoever chose to read my writing. Some different forms of media can be lectures, online websites, newspaper, oral presentations, digital audio, or speech. All of theses different forms of media can change the way you represent the writing, and can force you to add new things or focus on one area of the writing in order to satisfy your audience. the different types of media is a way to get your work out to the public more efficiently, while others may allow you to use more emotion and personal feeling when giving a speech. This form of media is a great way to get out more information since it isn’t a times presentation, only a select few will be allowed to actually read it, but at the same time you can’t tell how the writer truly wanted you to hear/learn this new info or argument. The only other form of media I used other than digital writing was the digital clips that were used during my oral presentation and was able to show my ideas and where I’m coming from with the help of the internet.
